Lunéville. Health and personal assistance: two sectors that are recruiting and training

"This is the fourth edition of this forum dedicated to healthcare, personal services, entertainment, and social work," said Sylviane Stengel, director of the Lunéville Local Mission (ML), one of the event's many partners. It took place at the Barollière gymnasium on Tuesday, April 29.
"This event is organized by the Employment Network (RPE)," emphasizes Eric Girard, team leader at France Travail, who is also involved. "We are targeting both trained and untrained audiences, as well as people in career guidance who are aware of these professions."
"This time, we divided the gymnasium into two equal parts, compared to the first edition, where we promoted careers. Now, we have people looking for the careers targeted in this forum," adds the ML director. Fifteen employers from the sector were set up in the job dating space, where 38 job offers were accessible. Among them was the Jeanne-d'Arc clinic. "This event allows us to collect a few resumes. I even gave advice to a forty-something woman who wants to become a nursing assistant," says Jessica Pariset, the establishment's director.
"Direct recruitment is possible in home care for seniors and people with disabilities, but not only in their own homes," adds Sylviane Stengel. In the second area, visitors were able to meet with seven training organizations, providing information on available training in the region. Job seekers had access to both sections.
"We had informed 1,200 people about this forum," Eric Girard explains. Sylviane Stengel continues: "At 2 p.m., it was a rush with around a hundred participants. We had a good turnout from the start. After that, it spread out over the two hours of the forum. By habit, we know that's how it works." Also among the speakers, Maévane Biwer of Cap emploi explains: "We keep people with disabilities in employment and we support them towards it."
Laetitia Leroy, territorial delegate for the Lunéville employment area, is responsible for "developing the training offer with all the RPE partners, particularly in the health sector. This concerns us because the Lunéville population is aging rapidly."
