Lunéville: Talking about sexual health and breaking taboos with middle school students

This Friday, June 6, middle school students from Bichat met with Lucie Laprée, a midwife at the Lunéville Sexual Health Center. Working alongside them, the healthcare professional was able to discuss sexuality and its various themes with kindness, informing, raising awareness, and dispelling several preconceived notions.

It’s not always easy to talk about sexual health with teenagers!

The subject is embarrassing. The taboos surrounding it lead to silence and ignorance. To remedy this, and to inform and raise awareness among young people, the Lunéville sexual health center regularly visits schools.
