Lyon: Health and social action professionals called to mobilize this Thursday

Several unions are calling on health and social care professionals to take to the streets in Lyon this Thursday, June 19.
A call for action is being made by the local CGT, Sud, and CNT unions this Thursday, June 19, starting at 11 a.m., in front of the Adapei (National Association of Social Workers) in Lyon's 3rd arrondissement. This call concerns healthcare and social work professionals to address " catastrophic working conditions " and " dramatic care for patients and their loved ones ," the CGT Rhône union detailed in a press release.
The union is demanding, in particular, " an immediate halt to restructuring and all cuts at the expense of health and social services " and " an increase in all salaries of at least €300." On April 1st, a national movement brought the medical and social sector together in the streets.
