Pollution in Lyon: Air quality improves this Monday

It's been a relatively easy week in Lyon and throughout the greater Lyon area. Thanks to the drop in temperatures and the passage of thunderstorms over Lyon in recent hours, air quality is expected to improve, notably with a drop in ozone levels.

In the Lyon metropolitan area, except around major traffic routes such as the ring road and the M6, the situation is good to average. All pollution markers, except for sulfur dioxide, are classified as average by Atmo, the air quality observatory for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
