Pollution in Lyon: good to average air quality this Tuesday

Air quality is expected to return to good to average this Tuesday, June 3, 2025, throughout the Lyon metropolitan area.

Breathing is still relatively easy in Lyon and the Lyon metropolitan area. This Tuesday, June 3, air quality will be good to average, with weather conditions, including thunderstorms expected later in the day, helping to limit ozone formation.

Fine particles, nitrogen dioxide, and multi-pollutants are classified as "average" by Atmo, the air quality observatory in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The only "good" indicator, sulfur dioxide, will be virtually absent from the skies over Lyon this Tuesday.
