Unusual. An 85-year-old woman from Baden has already completed 3,333 roller coaster rides to… relieve her back.

No fewer than 3,333 roller coaster rides in twelve years: that's the record set by Ursula Dees, an 85-year-old German woman who regularly visits the Tripswill amusement park in Cleebronn near Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg. She's a fan of the Karacho ride, which propels its passengers from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.6 seconds. She told the German press agency DPA that she sometimes rides no fewer than 50 roller coasters in a row!

Ursula Dees claims that the ride's loops relieve her back pain. The medical profession doubts this and reminds us that this type of attraction should be used with caution if you suffer from back pain. However, they do acknowledge that going to an amusement park can have positive effects on morale... and consequently, on back pain.

While we wait for science to settle this question, to reward her loyalty, the German amusement park has just offered a lifetime membership to this loyal customer. Until now, Ursula Dees paid the park's entrance fee without batting an eyelid.
