Scarlett—who shares son Cosmo, 3, with Colin as well as daughter Rose, 10, with ex Romain Dauriac—continued, "He’s a kind person. He’s hilarious and thoughtful and loving and he’s a great dad, and I love him."

Besides, she noted at the time, "He’s also got his naughty side. He keeps it interesting."

That so-called naughty side definitely came out during the latest season of Saturday Night Live, where Colin and his Weekend Update co-anchor Michael Che traded NSFW jokes about Scarlett.

"I was like, 'Wow, you really are seventh, eighth-grade boys," Scarlett told Vanity Fair in May, reflecting on a now-viral quip they made about her vagina. "I feel like it’s almost my responsibility to come up with some way to burn Michael back. Retaliation, I’d say, should be expected."

And Scarlett had the final laugh last month, when she and Colin playfully teamed up on Michael during SNL's season 50 finale.

"You know, last time we did 'joke swap,' I made Colin do some tasteless jokes comparing your vagina to Costco roast beef," Michael told Scarlett on-air. "Well, the fact is, I was just lashing out because I'm jealous. I've never even seen a human vagina."
