Sophie Turner Supports Joe Jonas Nearly 2 Years After Breakup

Even Sophie Turner is a sucker for music for people who believe in love.
So when Joe Jonas dropped his new album, the Game of Thrones alum could not help share rare public words of support for her ex-husband.
"Go go @joejonas," she wrote on her Instagram Stories May 24, alongside a photo of the cover of the singer's LP Music for People Who Believe in Love and a link to listen to it streaming on Spotify.
The record, Joe's second studio album, was released one day prior and contains singles such as "Work It Out," which dropped in July 2024—two months before he and Sophie finalized their divorce following their 2023 breakup.
The album also contains the song "Hey Beautiful," which features Louane and Tiny Habits and which Joe dedicated to his and his ex's daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 2.
At a recent performance, shared on TikTok by EW, Joe noted that the track was about "anybody that's a person that has the joy of being a parent and what they would be like, and the idea that you could be there for those little ones, even though you're not physically here."
Sample lyrics include, "Just in case a day comes, I'm not next to you / I went and cut a deal with all the stars / And, when you wish upon them, you can call it proof / I'll be with you wherever you are."
Sophie has also spoken out about the challenges of temporarily being away from her and Joe's daughters, who reside part of the time with their mom in her native England and then with their dad in the United States.
“It’s absolute agony," the Dark Phoenix actress told Harper's Bazaar in an interview published last October. "Before I had kids, I was very depressed and anxious, and I would isolate [myself] a lot. Now, I think I live my life for them. I want them to see me having a social life and enjoying work and thriving in my career and relationships."
Sophie was most recently romantically linked to Peregrine Pearson. The two first sparked dating rumors in October 2023, one month after Joe filed for divorce after four years of marriage. However, the actress and the British aristocrat drew breakup speculation this past April when she seemingly unfollowed him on Instagram, while he has been absent from her recent posts.
E! News reached out to reps for Sophie and Peregrine for comment at the time and has not heard back.
As for Joe, dating post-divorce isn't easy for the Jonas Brothers singer. But he has dipped his toes in the dating pool—which he called "really scary and intimidating"—and received relationship advice in the process, which inspired the Music for People Who Believe In Love track "Only Love."
“I was seeing somebody at the time and I was kind of having this idea of dating again," the 35-year-old said on Facebook’s TalkShopLive May 21. "This person kinda comically, sarcastically was like, ‘It’s only love.' And I was like, ‘Okay it’s a big deal to me. And a big deal to them. But it’s okay to take a leap of faith and just try again and just put yourself out there.'"
