Even though we've been Parisians for nearly twenty years, and prefer working-class neighborhoods to the central arrondissements, passing through the Louvre district still amazes us. Just wandering around it, especially at dusk, is enough to abandon any cynicism about this capital, which seems like a stuffy old lady. In the Louvre district, many street corners offer things to see and experience.

Alas, this love letter is not enough. Because Paris, and in particular the Louvre district – which also includes the Tuileries Gardens , the Comédie-Française and the Constitutional and
