“Murmurs of the City” in Moulins: a new Puy-du-Fou in Allier?

On July 11, 12, and 13, in Moulins (Allier), on the parade ground of the National Center for Stage Costume, a historical show entitled Murmures de la cité will be held. Its scenario? Two thousand years of history evoking "scenes from a distant past where other resistance fighters, kings, warriors, and builders rose up to build France […] indestructible and eternal." This story could be taken from a book from the end of the 19th century, when the partisans of glorious and eternal France began to forge the " national novel ."
Distributed by the organizers themselves, by the press, and also by some of the extras, the information about the eight scenes that will make up the show reveals a story of struggle, nationalism, and identity. A story that, in the past, has served to indoctrinate minds.
