2026 municipal elections in Lyon: candidate Edouard Hoffman finally sides with Jean-Michel Aulas
Edouard Hoffman, the standard-bearer of the anti-graffiti campaign in Lyon and a candidate in the 2026 municipal elections, will support Jean-Michel Aulas if he is a candidate.
His candidacy is (almost) no longer hypothetical. Jean-Michel Aulas hinted on Thursday evening that he might soon announce his commitment to the 2026 municipal race in Lyon . This would then be done with the support of Édouard Hoffmann, anti-graffiti and declared candidate (independent) , who ultimately decided to align himself with the former OL boss.
" He will be the captain, serving every Lyonnais with pragmatism and ambitions for our city that he loves and cares about ," he said in a statement, calling on " those who have not yet decided to join forces by joining and supporting a different, passionate, and long-term vision ." The statement was followed by thanks from JMA on the X network.
