Bourg-Argental. An agreement for securing drinking water resources signed

The municipality's drinking water supply relies almost exclusively on pumping and treating water from the Riotet River. However, this resource is proving increasingly fragile, particularly during low-water periods. The minimum reserved flow rate, set at 30 liters per second in summer and 70 liters per second from October 1 , is no longer regularly met. This situation forces the municipality to repeatedly request exemptions from government services to ensure the supply of the drinking water network.
