Colmar Region. Political Zapping: Caravans, a Question of Strategy

The inhabitants of the Munster Valley, and far beyond, all followed the "match" that pitted the traveling community against the valley's farmers on Monday, supported by elected officials and a few shopkeepers. An explosive encounter from which the farmers emerged victorious, pushing the caravans to look for another place to stay near Biesheim. This time, the travelers set up camp at the football stadium , warning that they would not leave until July 6. As a result, the mayor of Biesheim, Gérard Hug, was forced to cancel several events, the boatmen's festival, the ASC Tennis festival, and the inauguration of the new pump track . Final score... one each.
