Colmar Region. Political Zapping: Pretenses Around the Cemetery

Lately, there's been a hint of countryside surrounding the Ladhof cemetery. And it's not just the weeds invading the paths. Yves Hemedinger, a possible candidate for the 2026 municipal elections, denounced earlier this week "the lack of maintenance of this site, where many Colmar residents come to pay their respects," in an open letter to the mayor of Colmar . Before being roundly reprimanded by Christian Meistermann, deputy for green spaces, who in his response referred to "well-oiled PR stunts" that will, according to him, end up "wearing off Colmar residents." Weary of the war, Yves Hemedinger further castigates "the lack of staff among the cemetery maintenance workers, who have gone from four to two in recent years." And also "the spray attack" he's been subjected to. We're starting to wonder who will survive this campaign...
