On July 26, a tribute ceremony was held in Lanézia to honor the resistance fighters of the Beaufort canton, marking the ^81st anniversary of the events of July 1944. Organized by the mayor of Cuisia, Renaud Poncelin, the event brought together elected officials, patriotic associations, firefighters, and residents. A special tribute was paid to the six resistance fighters executed by the enemy, five of whom were denounced. Two wreaths were laid.
