EU-Mercosur trade agreement

EU-Mercosur trade agreement validated by the European Commission: "An affront to the agricultural profession." Hervé Lapie, general secretary of the FNSA, spoke to RMC. The FNSEA, the main agricultural union, denounces the agreement as still "toxic." The European Commission assures that "safeguard clauses" have been strengthened, in order to intervene if certain sectors find themselves penalized by the implementation of the agreement.
