On Monday, July 7, the National Association of Coastal Elected Officials sent an open letter to François Bayrou to denounce the abandonment of a "coastal erosion" fund, financed by national solidarity, whose purpose would be to finance the fight against the retreat of the coastline.

Since the beginning of his term last December, François Bayrou has faced a storm of expectations from local elected officials. Reform of the status of elected officials , municipal budgets... Now, it is the seaside elected officials who are stepping up to the plate. "Their patience has run out," explains the National Association of Coastal Elected Officials (Anel) in an open letter addressed Monday, July 7, to the Prime Minister, which denounces "the total lack of consideration" of their demands.
