In Lyon, three new elected officials join "L'Après", a movement launched by LFI dissidents

Three district elected officials join the ranks of the "L'Après" movement in Lyon.
In April, Laurent Bosetti, deputy mayor in charge of human resources at the City of Lyon, left La France insoumise and joined the movement launched by Clémentine Autain and Alexis Corbière, "L'Après." The elected official was followed by Laurence Boffet, vice-president of the Lyon Metropolitan Area in charge of consultation and citizen participation.
This Thursday, the political movement announced the arrival of three new elected officials from Lyon in its ranks. District councilors Thibaud Roche (Lyon 3rd ), Philippe Carry (Lyon 5th ) and Sylvie Frénillot (Lyon 9th ) are joining the political party and "reaffirm their commitment to the record of the municipal and metropolitan majority, call for the unity of the left in the local elections of 2026 but also at the national level, on the occasion of a social return which promises to be decisive, in the face of the government's austerity choices ."
These three elected officials were members of the Lyon en commun group, whose leader, Nathalie Perrin-Gilbert, is a candidate against Grégory Doucet in the 2026 municipal elections. The group will also disappear at the next municipal council meeting following the defection of Alexandre Chevalier and Tristan Debray, who remained loyal to Grégory Doucet against their leader.
As a reminder, it was his repeated calls for unity behind Grégory Doucet that led to Laurent Bosetti being fiercely attacked by his rebellious colleagues in the Rhône.
