Longuyon. A senior living project on a former SNCF site

It was at the Longuyon forum that a senior residence project, supported by the City and the Cengiz company, was presented to a large audience who came to learn about this future project.
The program will be built on a former SNCF site acquired by the municipality, along the streets of Allondières, Bois-des-Sergents, Robert-Lenoir and avenue du Général-de-Gaulle.
It will be in some way an extension of the Brassens hall, after the exit from the car park towards rue Raymond-Prud'homme, in the wooded area located to the right of the roadway.

The first phase involves the development of 12 plots of 270 m² each, intended to house single-story homes designed for seniors. Eight other similar homes will be built in the immediate vicinity. Each home will have a garage, a front and rear garden, and will be priced at €190,000.
These homes will offer a surface area of 58 m² including a living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet.
In the longer term, the project also includes the construction of three collective buildings, totaling 97 housing units.
However, the completion of this real estate transaction remains conditional upon the prior reservation of at least ten individual houses. In the absence of this threshold, work will not begin.
If anyone is interested in purchasing a home, please contact Carole Golette, Director General of Services at the town hall.
