Lyon Metropolitan Area. Dismissed, a former municipal deputy in Vaulx-en-Velin wants to take the matter to the administrative court.

More than six months after being stripped of his position as deputy in Hélène Geoffroy's majority, Ahmed Chekhab intends to appeal to the Lyon administrative court to have the decision overturned and "clear his name."
This is another of the nagging issues raised by Hélène Geoffroy's opposition for several months, and one that is likely to see a new upswing. Removed from his position as deputy mayor of Vaulx-en-Velin by the majority of the Socialist Party mayor on November 21, 2024, Ahmed Chekhab intends to appeal to the Lyon administrative court to have this decision overturned.
