Moselle. Travelers: the evangelical gathering will take place again this year in Grostenquin
It's official! The summer evangelical gathering organized by the Traveling Community will indeed take place in Grostenquin. "The Government has decided to make the Grostenquin airbase, in Moselle, available for the summer gathering of the Romani evangelical association "Life and Light," which will take place this year," the Prefecture announced in a press release on Friday, July 18.
A press conference is scheduled for this Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. in Metz. "Pascal Bolot, Prefect of Moselle, will explain the measures that will be implemented to ensure public order and the peace and quiet of residents, as well as to ensure the smooth running of the event," the same press release states.

As a reminder, the Vie et Lumière gathering has already had four editions in Moselle-Est, in 2006, 2015, 2017 and 2023. This event brings together around 5,000 caravans on the site located in the heart of the Natura 2000 zone. This is a temporary city of some 30,000 people which rises from the ground for a period of two to three weeks, in the heart of a rural area.
