Municipal elections in Marseille

47% of Marseille residents would be in favor of a union between Benoît Payan and Martine Vassal, reveals a study carried out by Ifop for La Provence and BFM Marseille Provence.

As the electoral reform of France's three largest cities is due to be examined in Parliament, Marseille residents are largely in favor of electing the mayor by direct universal suffrage. This is one of the findings of the Ifop study for La Provence and BFM Marseille Provence published this Friday, March 14.
