One of the main pro-independence parties, the Caledonian Union, spoke out on Thursday, July 31, against the draft Bougival Agreement on the future of New Caledonia, a compromise signed on July 12. The FLNKS congress, scheduled for Saturday, August 9, could be crucial for the future of the text.
