New Caledonia: Independentists and loyalists sign a “historic” agreement

The State and political forces of New Caledonia, meeting for ten days near Paris to try to chart an institutional future for the territory, signed a "historic" agreement this Saturday morning, July 12, announced the non-independence Loyalists and the Rally in a press release.
The details of this agreement, reached after a final night of negotiations in Bougival, in the Yvelines, where they had been meeting since July 2, are not yet known.
