Only one village delegate on the Artignosc Community Council

After approving the final minutes, the eight elected officials present or represented, including Mayor Serge Constans, moved on to examine the various items on the agenda.

The easement granted to Enedis to run the conductors underground on two plots of land in the municipality was unanimously approved.

The second item on the agenda concerned the composition of the Community Council of the Lacs et Gorges du Verdon Community of Communes (CCLGV). A resolution must be approved by each municipal council the year before the municipal elections.

Six votes against

The results of the latest census have not yet been published and it is therefore the figures from the previous census (8,984 inhabitants for the whole of the CCLGV) which will be used to determine the number of delegates for each of the 16 communes of the Community of Communes (35 delegates distributed according to the number of inhabitants per commune, with at least one delegate per commune).

For the commune of Artignosc, a single delegate will be able to represent the commune and its 278 inhabitants. The communes of Bauduen and Moissac should benefit from an additional representative.

During the vote, the local elected officials wanted to express their disagreement with the fact that Artignosc could not benefit from an additional representative and therefore dissociated themselves from the position expressed by the mayor during the community council by voting 6 votes against and 2 votes, including that of the mayor, for this resolution.

It should be noted that the rejection of this resolution by the Artignosc municipal council should have no effect; two-thirds of the municipalities must reject the local agreement for it to be effectively rejected.

The council then authorized the installation of a floating pontoon by the Liberté campsite on the lake. This recreational pontoon will be freely accessible to all, campers and residents alike.

Finally, the elected officials approved the amount of annual fees owed by Enedis and communications operators for 2026: 241 euros for electricity and 1,052 euros for telecommunications.

The mayor announced that a celebration would be organized by the CCLGV for the 50th anniversary of Lake Artignosc on the weekend of September 13 and 14.
