Rhône. Positions to be filled within this community: “We are struggling to recruit”

Several positions are available in the West Rhône urban community (COR), which is not immune to the recruitment problems encountered by many sectors.

Community seeking staff. Meeting at a community council meeting on Thursday, June 19, in Cublize, elected officials from the West Rhône urban community (COR) took stock of the inter-municipal authority's teams. "There are unfilled positions, what's happening? What's the HR management?" asked Valsonne Mayor Patrick Bourrassaut, expressing concern about the impact on the workload of existing teams.

"We're having trouble recruiting," replied COR President Patrice Verchère. "We're going through firms that we rotate. Some positions are hard to fill, and for others it's the opposite, with hundreds of applications. Positions of responsibility seem less attractive. But there's no desire to not fill vacant positions."

Currently, around ten positions are available at the COR, in numerous departments: finance, human resources and even maintenance and upkeep.
