Several multimillionaire ministers: who are the richest members of the government?
The average net worth of all members of the government is approximately €2,620,000. Two ministers, both at the Ministry of Finance, are the richest.

Industry Minister Marc Ferracci and Economy Minister Eric Lombard have the largest net worth among the members of the Bayrou government, according to statements made public on Tuesday by the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life (HATVP) .

Marc Ferracci, who has declared a net worth of nearly €23 million, derives most of his wealth from his shares in an accounting and management consulting firm chaired by his father, Pierre Ferracci.

Eric Lombard, with a net worth of nearly 21,000,000 euros, declared over 11,000,000 euros of shares in a consulting firm and over 8,000,000 euros of real estate.

They are followed by Culture Minister Rachida Dati , with nearly €6 million net. The latter has not declared any jewelry, while the newspaper Libération claimed in mid-April that she had failed to include in her previous asset declaration several pieces of jewelry held since 2017 for a total amount of €420,000.

"I have nothing to regularize. I've never been caught out on any declaration. So it's not going to start today," the minister reacted at the time on France Inter.

Still among the largest assets are those of the Minister for Trade, Crafts and SMEs, Véronique Louwagie (nearly €5,500,000 net) and that of her colleague at Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot (nearly €5,000,000 net). Prime Minister François Bayrou declared just over €1,300,000, an asset consisting mainly of real estate.

The average net worth of all members of the government is around €2,620,000. Manuel Valls , Minister of State for Overseas Territories, declared the lowest net worth: around €130,000.

But, after deducting liabilities, it is the Minister of Justice, Gérald Darmanin, who has the smallest net worth (77,821 euros), behind Charlotte Parmentier-Lecoq, Minister Delegate for People with Disabilities (113,477 euros).
