This Wednesday's Council of Ministers cancelled by decision of the Élysée

The Council of Ministers scheduled for this Wednesday, February 26, has been canceled according to Matignon, following a decision by the Élysée. A ministerial advisor told BFMTV "that there is no postponement planned for the moment for this council and we do not know the reason for this cancellation."
As a result, Prime Minister François Bayrou will return to the Agricultural Show this Wednesday, where he was already on Monday. The head of government spoke with agricultural unions, conceding that "not all the problems have been resolved" .
For his part, Emmanuel Macron will have returned from Washington where he met Donald Trump. The French president went to the United States to plead for the return of Europeans to possible negotiations on the outcome of the war in Ukraine.
Since September, the Council of Ministers' minutes have been held in an annex of the Hôtel Matignon. Previously, they were held in a room at the Élysée Palace.
