Massive Russian bombings in Ukraine in “response” to Kiev attacks. Russia launched massive drone and missile strikes on Kiev and other parts of the country on Friday morning, killing at least three people and wounding around fifty. “The Russian Defense Ministry said the strikes were in response to ‘terrorist acts by the Kiev regime ,’ adding that they targeted military sites,” the BBC reports. This attack comes “after Russian President Vladimir Putin warned US President Donald Trump that he would retaliate for recent Ukrainian strikes against Russian airbases,” the British broadcaster said.
