This very well hidden option on your remote control can significantly improve the sound of your TV, your ears will thank you

Who hasn't complained about the sound on their television? At the start of a movie night, the film starts, the beginnings are enjoyable, we begin to be immersed in the plot and then suddenly, the sound accelerates and becomes much too loud compared to the level we had chosen. The lag, often perceived during an action scene (shootout, explosion, roar of an engine) or when background music starts, can be particularly annoying.
And when you decide to lower the sound, the dialogues obviously become incomprehensible because the sound volume is then much too low! The large gap between dialogues and other sounds is not rare in a film or a series and is even very common. It is the result of a mix that highlights the most intense moments of a program to the detriment of the quieter passages.

The result on a television, however, can be very unpleasant, to the point of constantly having to juggle the volume on the remote control. But what if the solution was found in that little object you use every day to change channels?
Indeed, many more or less recent televisions have a built-in option to solve the problem of program mixing. By activating this option, you will greatly improve the sound quality of your device and will be guaranteed to obtain a much more pleasant sound. This function relies in particular on digital filters that automatically adjust excessively loud noises while raising those of dialogues and other softer sounds.
This feature, however, has a different name depending on the TV brand. On Samsung models, it's called "Voice Amplifier." On LG TVs, you'll find it labeled "Clear Voice," while Sony devices opt for "Voice Zoom," and Sony TVs call it "Clear Dialog."
However, you won't find this option directly on your TV remote. To access it, you'll need to use the "Menu" button on your remote and go to the "sound" or "audio" section depending on your TV model. Also, check if an update for your TV is available by going through your menu settings; manufacturers sometimes improve the sound of their devices well after their release with a simple update!
Once this option is enabled, you should notice a noticeable difference when watching a program with a lot of action scenes or sounds. Note that if you have a soundbar, this will need to be done on the latter and not on your TV. Indeed, it is your soundbar that takes precedence over your TV in terms of sound, and you will therefore have to use its own menus or dedicated mobile app to adjust the audio mix.
