"Go home": Real Madrid fans angry at their own player

"Go home": Real Madrid fans angry at their own player

While making his debut with Real Madrid, this young player had a nightmarish debut.

After losing their fourth Clasico this season, Madrid fans were left gnashing their teeth after the 4-3 defeat to Barça. Now behind the Catalans in the standings, Carlo Ancelotti's men are one step closer to a clean sweep of the season. During the Clasico, a young player was making his professional debut for Real Madrid , Victor Munoz. And while this debut in such a crucial match was set to be unforgettable for him, the evening turned into a nightmare for the 21-year-old Spaniard.

Coming on in the 88th minute as a substitute for Vinicius Junior, the winger had a few minutes to try and shine. The problem was that, with Barcelona trailing 4-3, Munoz missed a great opportunity to equalize, sparking anger among the Madrid fans. The young player was overwhelmed with emotion, leaving the pitch in tears after the match.

The harassment of the Spaniard doesn't stop there. On social media, supporters of the White House have completely overwhelmed the player with hateful comments: " go home ," " you're already worth selling ," and even " best player at Barça tonight ," a reference to Barça that refers to his time in the FC Barcelona youth teams where he notably rubbed shoulders with Fermin Lopez and Alejandro Baldé.

Particularly angry, Real Madrid fans also took the opportunity to unfurl a banner in front of the Madrid training ground, reading "Shame." Under pressure, it's time for the season to end for the Casa Blanca, which will begin a new cycle with the upcoming arrival of Xabi Alonso to replace Carlo Ancelotti.
