2025 Women's Tour de France: Route, profile and schedule of the 4th stage, between Saumur and Poitiers

A 132.2 km stage between Saumur and Poitiers begins this Tuesday. A short but tricky day, which promises to be the first real opportunity for the adventurers. The seemingly smooth profile actually hides two demanding climbs in the final ten kilometers, including the Buxerolles climb (bonus point), 9 km from the finish. A breakaway could hold firm if the peloton doesn't organize itself in time.
The finish, judged on Avenue John Kennedy in Poitiers, is located at the top of a final climb, at the end of a 1,100 m straight on a 7 m wide road. A sprint scenario remains possible, as in 2020 with Caleb Ewan, but it will require a strong sprinter, capable of withstanding repeated efforts at the end of the race.
