While visiting Briançon as part of the 2030 Alps Winter Games, Prime Minister François Bayrou signed several protocols committing the government to issues of transport, the environment, and financing. The legacy of Paris 2024 was also a central focus of this visit.

Accompanied by four ministers, Prime Minister François Bayrou traveled to Briançon this Friday, June 27, for an interministerial committee meeting dedicated to the 2030 Winter Olympics. The agenda included the signing of a mobility financing protocol, aimed at facilitating travel during the Olympics and making them "long-term," as well as a European Mountain Pact, aimed at ensuring that the European Union takes into account all the specificities of the region in terms of risk management, energy transition, and support for industry and tourism.
