A clash between Grasse and Toulon for the 4th round of the Coupe de France

The draw for the fourth round of the Coupe de France was announced this Thursday at the headquarters of Crédit Agricole Alpes-Provence in Aix-en-Provence.
A moment always awaited by the amateur clubs of the region, where the hope of continuing the adventure mixes with the curiosity of the upcoming matches.
For the occasion, two personalities were present to conduct the draw: former international sprinter Muriel Hurtis, 4x100m relay world champion in 2003, and Bernard Pardo, a former French international who played for Marseille and Bordeaux. In front of an audience of club executives and representatives, they took turns dipping their hands into the ballot box to select the upcoming matches.
This fourth round also marks a special moment with the entry of National 2 clubs, who will come to cross swords with teams from the lower divisions. Enough to offer some unbalanced matches on paper but always tricky, where the magic of the Cup often works.
The matches will take place on the weekend of September 27-28.
