A young AS Monaco player fell ill during a match this Wednesday evening

The young players from Stade Rennais and AS Monaco played in the final of the Espoirs Challenge this Wednesday evening at Roazhon Park.

A few minutes before the end of the match and with ASM leading 2-1, Monaco defender Samuel Nibombé collapsed on the pitch.

The young Belgian (17 years old) fell ill and was quickly taken care of by the medical staff.

Fortunately, the defender, who sometimes trains with the professional group, has regained his senses.

Around 9:30 p.m., the Prince's club announced that the news was reassuring regarding the player, who was taken to hospital (conscious) for tests.
