The Slovenian world champion easily won this Sunday, June 15, to clinch the first Critérium du Dauphiné of his career. A message sent to his main rival before he meets him again in three weeks at the start of the Grande Boucle.

With its yellow, green, and polka-dot jerseys, its Alpine roads, and its mid-June positioning, the Critérium du Dauphiné is a major rehearsal for the Tour de France.
