Besançon. French Combined Events Championships: Podium in sight for Florian Pacheco in Laval

French cadet decathlon champion two years ago, Florian Pacheco (MBA) will be aiming for another medal on Saturday and Sunday in Laval. Currently second in the national junior rankings, behind Corentin Longuet (Châteauroux), who appears to have a significant margin over his rivals with 7,285 points, the athlete from the urban area will try to improve on his 7,090 points achieved, unopposed, in La Wanzenau. Two other athletes have already surpassed 7,000 points this year.
