The Paris Tennis Committee, which manages the Pereire tennis complex, located on the affluent boulevard of the same name in the 17th arrondissement, is under fire from critics.
By Florian LoisyDespite players' petitions, no change is in sight: in mid-July, the Paris Tennis committee is expected to obtain a renewal of its lease at the Pereire sports complex in the 17th arrondissement, as has been the case since 1999. An initial ten-year lease, another fifteen-year one, a one-year extension... And here it is in 2025, welcoming nearly 2,000 members to its five tennis courts. Adults and children affiliated with the ten or so associations that use the facility. Yet, it is almost impossible for them to change or shower there.
