How did AS Monaco and Paul Pogba sign a trust agreement to revive the 2018 world champion?

How did AS Monaco and Paul Pogba sign a trust agreement to revive the 2018 world champion?

Paul Pogba shone during his presentation on Thursday. He was as effective in answering questions as he was in his finest moments on the pitch. The 2018 world champion also surprised everyone when he was asked to discuss his return to the pitch and the roadmap he will follow.

"La Pioche" didn't respond immediately; he first turned to Thiago Scuro, ASM's General Manager, sitting to his right. It was as if the Brazilian held all the answers to our questions. This gesture was anything but innocent. It demonstrated that the Principality club had a hand in the 32-year-old midfielder's physical reconstruction.

Pogba will obviously be listened to. His feelings and sensations will not be neglected, but the former Mancunian has agreed to be guided by his new club's performance department. The department is supposed to restore him to the characteristics of a top-level player after two years without playing* and individualized training unable to convey the intensity of competition. Between the Parisian and ASM, a contract of trust has been signed. Monaco reached out to him and offered him a two-year contract, and Pogba must respect the pace he is given.

Dmitry Rybolovlev has confirmed his arrival

Having visited the Performance Center on May 17 , after video interviews with Scuro and Carlos Avina, the club's Technical Director, "PP" also met with Adi Hütter, his coach, and Dmitry Rybolovlev, the Monaco president. The Russian validated his arrival, having been able to see the "personality" and "the type of person" that he was lucky enough to recruit according to Scuro. Proof that an entire club is convinced that it can get him back into shape.

On Thursday, the French international (91 caps) indicated that the club had put together "an XXL program" just for him. "Monaco is what I needed today," he added.

Pogba indicated that if he listened to himself, he would be on the pitch "tomorrow" and against Le Havre, as early as the weekend of August 15 for the opening of the championship, Scuro tempered his enthusiasm. "I guarantee you that he will not be there against Le Havre, " he reined in. Paul was probably joking. I am here to be honest and realistic. We hope for a three-month process so that he can rebuild. If we try to speed things up, Paul will start to get injured, which nobody wants."

Freed from his non-sporting worries and accompanied for a time by psychologists, the Monaco number 8 is at peace. A state of mind that, according to him, helps to ward off injuries. "I was able to talk with several people who helped me see things in the present, so as not to think about the past or the future," he says. "It's up to me to live day by day. Everything will come back with time. If my head is fine, I think it will be fine on the pitch and in my body. When that's not the case, there can be problems everywhere. My plan is to be in a good mood so I can be as free as a bird."

Monaco will do everything to make him sing at the top of his lungs.

* Due to physical problems, an extortion attempt by childhood friends and an 18-month suspension for doping.
