Calum Connor, an 18-year-old Englishman, has achieved a sporting feat: jumping over the 25 steps of the Cité Internationale in Lyon, performing a backflip.

You had to be brave and certainly a little crazy to attempt this challenge. At just 18 years old, the British Calum Connor went to Lyon and more precisely to the Cité internationale, near the Tête d'Or park. His goal: to climb the 25 steps, world-famous among riders .

A more than accomplished goal. In a video posted on social media earlier this week, we see the Brit arrive at full speed and jump over these famous steps, while performing a backflip during his flight! A masterful art from start to finish, since the young man landed with both feet on his scooter, without the slightest scratch.

A new line - more anecdotal - is therefore added to the list of achievements of Calum Connor, bronze medalist at the last world championships and also arriving on the third step of the podium at the International Festival of Extreme Sports (Fise).

Let's also remember that in 2020, Lyon skater Aurélien Giraud performed the jump at the Cité internationale, slightly injuring his ankle. Last year, Czech Kristian Albrecht flew over the 25 steps on a scooter, without attempting the somersault. In 2014, American Aaron "jaws" Homoki did the same on a skateboard.
