Lyon Metropolis: Free sports activities offered to young people starting tomorrow

58 sports will be available to discover from tomorrow, Monday, July 7, until August 8 as part of the Métropole Vacances Sportives program.

Starting tomorrow, Monday, July 7, and running through August 8, the Lyon Metropolitan Area is renewing its Métropole Vacances Sportives program. Free activities will be offered to children aged 3 to 18 in 25 municipalities* across the region and in the Lacroix-Laval and Parilly metropolitan parks, in conjunction with more than 80 sports associations.

In total, 58 sports will be available for young people to discover ( full program and registration here ). Each activity is organized by age group and level. Activities will also be offered to children with disabilities.

"Since 2020, Métropole Vacances Sportives has enabled more than 135,000 children in the Metropolis to take part in free physical and sporting activities during their spring or summer holidays," says Florestan Groult, vice-president of the Metropolis in charge of sports and parasport policies.
