Delving into his experience with Lens, he emphasized: "I was lucky enough to play Champions League matches as a coach. The opponents were all stronger. And yet, we beat some of them."
"We want to show our best image, which we didn't do much to do last year in Europe (Editor's note: 35th out of 36 in the Europa League)," he added, so "the only thing that is obligatory is to give our best." Even if "no one can be at 100% today," "I prefer that we take the initiative, even if it means making mistakes, rather than waiting for what happens," he admitted.
