Nick Hogan: Hulk Hogan's son served time in prison after a dark affair

Nick Hogan, whose real name is Nicholas Bollea, is the son of the famous wrestler Hulk Hogan, who passed away this Thursday, July 24. Born in 1990, he became known as a teenager by appearing on the reality TV show Hogan Knows Best , which followed the daily life of the Hogan family. Outside of television, Nick had a passion for sports cars and motor racing.
This passion, however, turned tragic in August 2007. At the age of 17, Nick Hogan was involved in a serious car accident in Clearwater, Florida. While driving a Toyota Supra at high speed, he lost control of the vehicle. His passenger and friend, John Graziano, a 22-year-old former Marine, was seriously injured. He suffered a severe head trauma and would remain in a semi-vegetative state for the rest of his life.
After the accident, Nick was prosecuted for reckless driving causing serious bodily injury. In May 2008, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to eight months in prison, five years of probation, 500 hours of community service, and a three-year license suspension. He served 166 days in custody before being released on good behavior. The case had profoundly affected the Hogan family's public image.
