OGC Nice: Agreement reached for the arrival of defender Kojo Peprah Oppong

Looking for a central defender to strengthen a sector weakened by the long-term injuries of Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Mohamed Abdelmonem and the absence until at least September of Moise Bombito, OGC Nice had set its sights on Kojo Peprah Oppong.
Faced with the difficulty of the negotiations, the Gym had nevertheless explored other avenues in parallel but, as reported by Expressen, the matter was finally resolved.
According to our information, a member of the Nice club traveled to Sweden on Monday to supervise the player who was playing against Värnamo and the club decided to increase its offer to complete the transfer, which amounts to approximately 2.5 million euros excluding bonuses.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian defender will therefore become Nice's fifth summer signing, subject to successfully passing his medical.
After a successful loan spell in Swedish D2 (at GIF Sundsvall), the defender has since his return established himself as an undisputed starter for IFK Norrköping, eleventh in Allsvenskan.
