Pétanque. CNC 1: Bourbon-Lancy scores a clean sweep

At home, the Bourbon players struck hard. Langon (41) swept 28 to 8. Sully (45) was beaten 20 to 16, despite losing five head-to-head matches out of six, notably with the presence of Christophe Trembleau in the opposing team. Brou (77) dominated by the same score: 28 to 8. Three matches, three victories, the momentum is launched.
In Orléans, the team confirmed their form. Feuguières (80) was beaten 24-12. Ronchin (59) was more tenacious, but defeated 22-14 thanks to two decisive triples. Five out of five, the score remains perfect.
Already a 2018 winner, the Bourbon-Lancy team is well-versed in the demands of the highest level. The top two teams in the group will qualify for the national final, scheduled for November 21-23 in Mont-Sous-Vaudrey (location still to be confirmed). And Bourbon-Lancy is more than ever well-positioned to compete.
The last two days will be played in Montluçon (03). First against Trégueux (22), an experienced team led by Julien Lamour (2003 triplet world champion) and Corentin Robillard (winner of the 2024 Bourbon-Lancy national championship). Then against Issy-les-Moulineaux, the group's bottom team.
A win will be enough to secure qualification. The club will be counting on Lucas Desport's reinforcement to finish off a remarkable group stage in style.
