PSG - Real Madrid: The Parisians' full schedule before the semi-final with a base camp in New Jersey

A reunion that was bound to be unusual. After securing their place in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup by beating Bayern Munich in a crazy match (2-0) , the Parisians learned the identity of their future opponent a few hours later at their hotel in Atlanta.
The possibility of facing Real Madrid and crossing paths with Kylian Mbappé again was bound to be a topic of discussion among some of the players who knew the club's all-time leading scorer well. The possibility became a reality after the Merengue's 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund, a match in which Mbappé scored his first goal in the competition.
Now that their fate has been decided, Luis Enrique's men can begin preparing for this enticing and electric clash, which takes place this Wednesday (9 p.m.) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The European champions will get down to business on Sunday with a first morning session (11 a.m.) which will take place on the grounds of Kennesaw University, north of Atlanta, where they have been training for more than ten days.
The entire Parisian delegation will then head to New York, a two-hour flight from the state of Georgia. As has been the case since the beginning of the competition, PSG will choose a base camp far from the city center and will train at Basking Ridge, on the grounds of the Pingry School, in New Jersey, approximately 40 minutes from the venue for its semi-final.
The capital club is familiar with this venue, having occupied it for two weeks during a summer camp in the United States in 2015, during the era of Laurent Blanc and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The pitch hosts the school's boys' and girls' university football teams year-round. Egypt's Al Ahly also took advantage of these facilities earlier in the competition.
The players will then have a day off on Monday to meet up with their loved ones who have planned to make the trip.
Luis Enrique is once again keen to focus on his men's recovery ahead of the semi-final against Real Madrid. While they had six days of rest between their round of 16 win against Miami and the quarter-final against Bayern Munich, the Parisians will this time get back to work much more quickly, which will please the Spanish coach.
PSG's final training session is scheduled for Tuesday morning. In the meantime, the Parisian players' phones are likely to be buzzing, and a certain Kylian Mbappé is likely to be mentioned...
