Seven hundred budding rugby players in CE2, CM1, and CM2 classes from Toulon schools gathered at the end of their twelve-session cycle for the major "oval ball" tournament organized by the RCT Association educators in Léo-Lagrange. These encounters were focused on discovery, learning, and fun.
Raiha and Théo, 10 years old, from the Ernest-Renan school in Mourillon: "We had a lot of fun with our friends."
Teacher Nathalie Lanfranqui: "It's a great organization, the classes throughout the year are fantastic. Bravo to the instructors!"
"It's an important moment because it punctuates the oval ball session. The children reinvest what they have learned. They are excited. I have been involving my students in the Écol'Ovale for four years. They share values in this moment of sport with pleasure," emphasizes Patrick Estaba, teacher at the Jean-Aicard school.
Virginie Laporta, development agent and coordinator of the RCT, congratulates everyone's commitment: "The children left with smiles and medals. This operation has become an institution, it is a team effort with all the teaching teams of the schools and those responsible for National Education. Moreover, today, we were able to talk well with Jean-Pierre Estrella , departmental PE educational advisor, and Alice Dalmasso , his counterpart from the constituency. I thank the young licensees of the U12, U14 categories, the minimettes and the cadets who took up the whistle and the pen for this organization" .
A very good form of physical activity that corresponds to the objectives of elementary school.
