Shows: our favorites from the next season at the Forum in Fréjus

Shows: our favorites from the next season at the Forum in Fréjus

A rich and varied season of creations. Great classical texts, great actors, singers recognized on the French and international scene (Roberto Alagna, for example!), and wonderful discoveries that we highly recommend you see.

Between theater, dance, circus, music and young audiences, the Forum's 2025 program once again finds its balance to appeal to all audiences.

So, in a totally subjective selection, here are some dates to remember.

1. Theater

There will be great classical texts ( Dom Juan , La folle journée or The Marriage of Figaro with Philippe Torreton), great artists (Guillaume de Tonquédec in Mon jour de Chance , Stéphane de Groodt in La Vérité, a very beautiful text by Florian Zeller, or even Jean-Pierre Darroussin in Inconnu à cette adresse ).

And more confidential shows that fully deserve to be in the spotlight. In this regard, we remember the version of Presented by the Thespis company, based on Homer. The scenography here blends mythology and popular culture, transforming the Trojan War into an American football match. A dreamlike and modern epic presented Outside the Walls, at the Saint-Raphaël convention center.

March 31st at 8:30 p.m. in the Gounod Room. Ages 10 and up. Prices: €19 to €26.

We highly recommend the new comedy by and with Sébastien Castro, A creation in which the actor and author of J'ai envie de toi and Une idée génie looks at chance and its consequences on our lives through the trajectories of three individuals who, without knowing each other, end up... recognizing each other. Hilarious.

March 6th at 8:30 p.m. in the Gounod Hall. Open to the public. Prices: €29 to €36.

2. Music

In this register, we no longer present Jenifer (November 18), Thomas Dutronc (January 30), Calogero (March 26), even less, on the classic side, Roberto Alagna (February 14, a beautiful Valentine's Day evening). Four dates which should be a hit fairly quickly. We then focus on the , an "off-site" concert by the Zaïde Quartet. This all-female quartet has been performing on the world's finest classical stages for 15 years now. The evening's program in the eastern Var region includes Bach and his The Art of Fugue , as well as Shostakovich and Schubert.

March 10th, Saint-Raphaël Convention Center. Open to the public. Prices: €19 to €26.

We also note in the concert chapter, A tribute to the greatest hits from the repertoire of the child prodigy who has become a true icon, with the sublime voice of Neima Naouri (photo above) as a guest.

December 18th at 8:30 p.m. in the Gounod Room. Prices range from 19 to 26 euros.

3. Dance

Here again, big names in dance on the international scene will come to light up the nights of the Forum. This is also by Israeli choreographer and dancer Hofesh Schechter, which will open the Forum season on September 30 and October 1. Alonzo King Lines Ballet will take over the stage on February 6, 2026. Of particular note is the new creation by choreographer Mourad Merzouki, who in , questions the passing of time. Time and its effects on the body as it endures the weight of the years. A remarkable performance by the dancers of the Käfig company, set to electro tango and guinguette music.

January 16th at 8:30 p.m. Open to all ages. Prices: €26 to €35.

4. Circus

We can already tell that tickets are going to be sold out, but how can we not mention Slava's SnowShow? It's impossible to ignore these clowns from the cold, melancholic and at the same time irreverent, who, without a word, manage to unleash the whole range of emotions in young and old alike. We already applauded them wildly in 2019, and they're back again this time to transform the venue into a giant playground.

From December 3rd to 7th. From 8 years old. Salle Gounod. Prices: from 26 to 35 euros.

5. Young audience…

...But not only that, let it be said, for the six dates dedicated to young shoots, adults will have the opportunity to become children again. which opens the round of shows for young audiences, should tick all the boxes. These "dances for ghosts and black light" performed by the LaBazooka company might give the big kids in us some silly ideas... For the little ones, shh, let's not talk about it!

October 11th at 5 p.m. in the Gounod Hall. Ages 6 and up. Youth rates: 8 euros.

Online ticket sales open June 17 at 7 p.m. Le Forum, 83 boulevard de la Mer in Fréjus. Information: 04.94.95.55.55, Tuesday to Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. www.theatreleforum.fr
