It was thanks to "the report of an anonymous whistleblower" that the profession became aware, in December, of the actions of the nurse at the L'Astrée nursing home in Saint-Etienne.
This caregiver had posted videos depicting residents of this establishment belonging to the Korian group in a degrading manner, even showing an old lady on her deathbed.
The offending caregiver has been suspended and is due to appear before the Order's disciplinary chamber. A family has also filed a complaint.
