Things are getting serious in the Top 14. A few days after the one-sided play-offs, this Friday marks the start of the last four of the Championship, with a very promising first match at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon. Winner of Clermont in the deluge last Friday at Jean-Dauger (20-3) , Bayonne created a surprise and secured their ticket to a spicy semi-final.

Outsiders, Aviron will face Toulouse , the defending champion and the most successful club in France (23 Brennus shields), who finished in first place at the end of the regular phase. The Toulousains will arrive fresh and rested, but without numerous injuries (Mauvaka, Dupont, Capuozzo...). The other semi-final will pit Union Bordeaux-Bègles against Toulon on Saturday.
